A digital foundation for TRANSTRADE’s international growth

As part of an information system transformation project, we helped TRANSTRADE s.r.o. move to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition cloud ERP solution. Today it serves as a single platform for managing the business across all the countries where the company operates.

Beyond the technology change, the project fundamentally transformed how the company operates. The original setup, built on several disconnected systems, could no longer effectively support the company’s growth, its expansion into foreign markets, its widening product portfolio or its increasingly complex processes. 

The goal was therefore to create an integrated environment that brings finance, sales, logistics and warehouse management together into a single whole and enables real-time management of the company. 

One of the customer’s key requirements was a smooth transition of EDI communication for automated order intake from key retail partners. The project also included digitalizing warehouse processes, including the introduction of a managed warehouse with a focus on batch and expiry date tracking (FEFO), which is essential for food distribution. The solution also reflects the legal requirements of the individual Central European countries and includes an integration with the Shopify e-commerce platform, for which we used SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). 

The resulting solution gives TRANSTRADE unified process management across countries, with no need for manual data consolidation. The implementation of  SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition provides transparent, real-time visibility into profitability, inventory and sales activities, while significantly reducing errors and operational workload. The company now has a stable digital foundation, ready to support its further growth and expansion into new markets.
